FANA announces the appointment of Ms. Liliane Carvalho to the position of Consul General in Brazil
January 31, 2024
For those readers who are unfamiliar with FANA, I am the press director for the Federation of Aboriginal Nations of the Americas (FANA).
We are the first global Indigenous Federation in modern times. Due to the fact that we are now considered a global Federation through a sundry of treaties and contracts, it has become necessary to establish embassies throughout the world.
FANA is proud to announce the appointment of Ms. Liliane Carvalho to the position of Consul General in Brazil. She will be reporting to Ambassador Douglas Scott who is FANA’s ambassadorial Coordinator and ambassador to the Commonwealth. Ambassador Scott reports directly to FANA’s Minister of International Affairs, Principal Chief Dr. Ronald Yonaguska Holloway of the SandHill Band of Lenape and Cherokee Indians (NY, NJ, PA).
Ms. Carvalho is a native Brazilian who believes in Indigenous rights, culture, and medicine. She wants the indigenous languages and histories preserved for the indigenous communities in order to help them to adapt to a changing world by having their historical heritage recorded for help and guidance. She will be tasked with overseeing the search for embassy locations as she establishes contact and develops a relationship not only with Brazilian Tribes, but with other South American Tribes as well. She will be in charge of coordinating meetings between the different Tribal entities and FANA to sign the necessary treaty/contract to open an embassy.
She comes to the Federation with a host of qualifications. She has vast experiences in business development, organizing meetings with both public and private officials, as well as having an extensive financial background.
She has worked for one of the world’s largest Fund Managers, George Soros. She is a highly experienced client services professional and is skilled in relationship management and investment solutions. She is currently based in Latin America and Dubai and has an extensive global network. She speaks five foreign languages.
I will quote directly from her resume: To date she has been employed with St. Peter’s, and hired for “Wealth Management Responsible front office and back office Historical Assets Redemption transactions, handling the highest-level confidential information through to successful closing of transactions with Gerren O’Neill.” (Mr. O’Neill is FANA’s Formal Consul General for America and Canada to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland where he oversees FANA operations within the UK and Northern Ireland as well as working with the United Nations.)
With her vast knowledge and experience, Ms. Carvalho is a very welcomed addition to the Federation.
